✨ Chapter 1✨

The Rathore Mansion stood proudly on the outskirts of Jaipur.

A symbol of power.

A symbol of wealth.

And above all...

A symbol of fear.

No one dared to challenge the Rathore family. Their business empire spread across the country, while their mafia empire operated silently in the shadows.

Today, however...

The mansion was unusually lively.

Servants hurried across the marble floors, polishing every corner, arranging fresh flowers, and setting the dining table with expensive crockery.

Everyone had been instructed to make today's arrangements perfect.

Because today...

Vikram Rathore was bringing home his new wife.

And with her...

Her daughter.

Akshara Sharma.

Rathore Mansion – Living Hall

Raghvendra Rathore adjusted his spectacles as he looked around the hall.

Everything looked perfect.

Geetanjali smiled happily.

"I hope Meera and Akshara don't feel uncomfortable."

Aaditya nodded.

"They are family now."

Karishma smiled.

"I've heard Akshara is a very quiet girl."

Geetanjali sighed softly.

"Poor child... losing one family and entering another isn't easy.

On the other side of the hall...

Five young men stood together.

Each one carried an intimidating aura.

They were feared in the business world.

Respected in the underworld.

And completely united against one thing.

Accepting Akshara.

Aryan folded his arms.

"Ek baat sab yaad rakhna."

Translation: Everyone remember one thing.

Everyone looked at him.

"Woh sirf Papa ki doosri biwi ki beti hai."

Translation: She is only Dad's second wife's daughter.

Veer nodded.

"Hamari behen sirf Nitya hai."

Translation: Nitya is our only sister.

Kabir smirked.

"Usse jitni doori rahe utna hi achha hai."

Translation: The farther we stay from her, the better.

Dev leaned against the wall.

"Mujhe usse koi matlab nahi."

Translation: I have nothing to do with her.

Aarav simply looked outside through the glass window.

He didn't say anything.

But his silence meant agreement.

Meanwhile...

Standing on the first-floor balcony...

Nitya Rathi watched everything.

She frowned.

Everyone was waiting for Akshara.

Everyone was talking about Akshara.

Nobody was paying attention to her.

She hated that feeling.

"Dekhte hain kitni special hai."

Translation: Let's see how special she really is.

A slow smile spread across her face.

She had already decided.

She would never let Akshara become a part of this family.

Never.

Outside the Mansion

A convoy of black luxury cars slowly entered through the massive gates.

Security guards immediately stood in attention.

The first car stopped.

Vikram stepped out.

He walked towards the other side and opened the door himself.

Meera stepped out.

She looked nervous.

She had dreamt of this day for months.

Then...

A pair of black boots touched the ground.

Akshara stepped out.

Black cargo pants.

An oversized black shirt.

Hair tied in a neat ponytail.

A black watch on her wrist.

No jewellery.

No makeup.

No expression.

She slowly looked at the mansion.

Just once.

Then looked away.

It was only another building to her.

Nothing more.

Unknown to everyone...

Only an hour ago, she had finished a virtual board meeting as the anonymous CEO of one of India's fastest-growing multinational companies.

No one in the Rathore family knew that.

To them...

She was simply Meera's daughter.

Inside the mansion...

The main doors opened.

Everyone turned.

Meera entered with a nervous smile.

Beside her walked Akshara.

Her face was calm.

Cold.

Unreadable.

Geetanjali immediately walked forward.

"Welcome home, beta."

Akshara looked at the elderly woman.

For a brief second...

The warmth in Geetanjali's eyes surprised her.

She gave a small nod.

"Thank you."

Her voice was calm.

Soft.

Yet distant.

Before anyone else could speak—

Aryan's voice echoed through the hall.

"Hum formalities mein believe nahi karte."

Translation: We don't believe in formalities.

Silence filled the room.

Veer looked straight at Akshara.

"Aur hum tumhe apni behen kabhi nahi maanenge."

Translation: And we will never accept you as our sister.

Meera's smile disappeared.

Vikram frowned.

Geetanjali looked disappointed.

Akshara...

Didn't react.

Not even for a second.

She simply looked at all five brothers one by one.

Then spoke in a calm voice.

"Maine kab accept karne ko kaha?

Translation: When did I ask you to accept me?

The hall fell silent.

No anger.

No tears.

No pleading.

Just one sentence.

Aryan narrowed his eyes.

For the first time...

Someone had answered him without fear.

Akshara turned towards her mother.

"Mom, can we go to our room?"

As if nothing had happened.

The brothers exchanged glances.

She hadn't argued.

She hadn't cried.

She hadn't tried to impress anyone.

She simply...

Didn't care.

And somehow...

That bothered them far more than if she had.
